Abstract

This study delves into the historical development and cultural significance of allegory in Urdu children's literature, tracing its roots and evolution through various literary movements. The analysis of Anbālvī's "Fāteḥ Kon?" serves as a central case study, showcasing the author's adept use of allegory to convey complex social, moral, and existential themes. By dissecting the narrative structure, character development, and symbolic elements within the novel, the paper illuminates how Anbālvī's storytelling techniques resonate with young readers, fostering critical thinking and ethical reflection.
