Publication Charges Policy

AL-ĪMĀN Research Journal (IRJ) is an open-access scholarly journal published by Hira Institute of Social Sciences Research & Development.

Publication Fee

AL-ĪMĀN Research Journal (IRJ) charges a publication fee of PKR 10,000 (approximately USD 35) for each accepted research article.

The publication fee is applicable only after a manuscript has successfully completed the journal's editorial screening and peer-review process and has been formally accepted for publication.

There is no submission fee for submitting a manuscript to the journal.

Editorial Independence

Payment of the publication fee has no influence on the editorial decision, peer-review process, academic evaluation, or acceptance of a manuscript.

All manuscripts are evaluated solely according to the journal's editorial policies, peer-review procedures, academic quality, originality, relevance, and scholarly merit.

The ability or inability of an author to pay the publication fee does not affect the editorial decision regarding a manuscript.

What the Publication Fee Covers

The publication fee contributes to the costs associated with:

  • Editorial processing and administration

  • Peer-review management

  • Copyediting and proofreading

  • Typesetting and article formatting

  • DOI and online publication services

  • Journal website and publishing platform maintenance

  • Digital preservation and archiving

  • General administrative and publishing expenses

Other Author Charges

Apart from the publication fee stated above, AL-ĪMĀN Research Journal (IRJ) does not charge authors any additional mandatory fees for:

  • Manuscript submission

  • Peer review

  • Editorial processing

  • Page charges

  • Colour charges

  • Online publication

Authors will not be required to pay any additional mandatory charge unless such a charge is clearly stated on the journal's website and communicated to authors before it becomes applicable.

Transparency of Publication Charges

The publication fee and all applicable author charges are publicly stated on the journal's website and are available to authors before manuscript submission.

AL-ĪMĀN Research Journal (IRJ) is committed to maintaining transparent and consistent publication-charge policies.

Any future change to the publication fee or other author charges will be clearly announced on the journal's website before the revised charges take effect.

No Waiver or Discount Policy

AL-ĪMĀN Research Journal (IRJ) does not currently offer a general publication fee waiver or discount program.

The standard publication fee for every accepted research article is PKR 10,000 (approximately USD 35).
