This study delves into the timeless relevance and resilience of Islam in the face of persistent misrepresentation, particularly by Western powers and media. Since its inception, Islam has been subjected to concerted efforts to undermine its message, with the contemporary era witnessing intensified campaigns of distortion. Western media, notably led by the United States, has often portrayed Islam as a violent ideology, labelling it a religion of terrorism. These narratives aim to distort Islam’s essence as a religion of peace and justice, presenting a skewed image to the global audience. This paper argues that such portrayals are fundamentally flawed. Islam is a universal religion of truth and guidance, destined to flourish and offer solutions to humanity’s challenges. Encouragingly, recent developments signal a shift in perceptions within Western and European societies, where increasing numbers are recognizing the authenticity and depth of Islamic teachings. The active engagement of Muslim leaders in countering these misrepresentations has further strengthened this realization. This study underscores the pivotal role of unwavering faith as a source of resilience and empowerment. It is this faith that enables Muslims to challenge prejudice effectively and present the true face of Islam to the world. By examining these dynamics, the research highlights how faith-driven efforts can dismantle misconceptions, fostering understanding and paving the way for Islam’s universal relevance.
