Crossref Indexing & DOI Activation

With reference to the approval of the Editorial Board, the management of Al-Iman Research Journal (Arts & Humanities) is pleased to announce that the journal has successfully achieved official indexing with Crossref.
As a result, Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) have been officially activated for the journal. All published and forthcoming articles will now be assigned unique DOI numbers to ensure global visibility, permanent accessibility, and citation tracking.

Report of the 4th Meeting of the Editorial Board

The 4th meeting of the Editorial Board of the Al-Iman Research Journal (Arts & Humanities) was held on January 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The following members attended the meeting:

The meeting commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Dr. Khalida Siddique, Editor, warmly welcomed all the participants. The agenda of the meeting was then presented to the board. Dr. Sayyed Farhan Hussain Shah, Editor-in-Chief, initiated the proceedings and guided the discussion on each agenda item.

Agenda Item No. 1
To review the overall progress and academic scope of the journal
The Editorial Board reviewed the overall progress of the journal and discussed ways to strengthen its academic scope in the fields of Arts and Humanities, including Islamic Studies, Social Sciences, Literature, and related disciplines. The members emphasized maintaining high academic standards and encouraging interdisciplinary research.
Agenda Item No. 2
To approve the change in the journal’s publication frequency from Bi-Annual to Quarterly
The Editorial Board was informed about the decision to change the publication frequency of Al-Iman Research Journal from Bi-Annual to Quarterly. This step was taken in view of the increasing number of quality submissions and to ensure timely publication of research in the fields of Arts and Humanities. After discussion, the board unanimously approved the change, and it was agreed that the journal will be published on a quarterly basis with immediate effect.

To enhance the visibility and outreach of the journal
The board discussed various strategies to enhance the journal’s visibility, including applying for indexing in recognized databases, strengthening the journal’s online presence, and promoting published research through academic networks and digital platforms.
Agenda Item No. 4
To plan special issues and calls for papers
The Editorial Board explored the possibility of launching special issues and thematic calls for papers focusing on contemporary and emerging themes in Arts and Humanities. It was agreed to invite proposals from experienced scholars to broaden the journal’s academic contribution.
The meeting concluded with the Editor-in-Chief expressing sincere appreciation to all members for their valuable input and commitment to the growth and quality of the journal.
