Abstract

Islam, as a comprehensive rule of life, addresses all aspects of life, including topics of food and drink, personal, group, and social issues. As such, it provides guidance and directives to people in all spheres of existence. In summary, "Halal and Haram" sums everything up. We have a religious as well as a practical requirement to learn about halal and haram food. In the realm of edibles and beverages, processed and ultra-processed goods are making their way onto the market every day. In this sense, under the banner of "Halal Education," several nations around the world such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and South Africa are incorporating Halal education into their national curricula and working to advance it via ongoing research. To ensure that Pakistani children are taught Halal and Haram from the beginning of their education all the way up to the master's class, it is imperative that we amend our education policy and incorporate Halal and Haram education into the normal curriculum of our national education curriculum. The only places where full education, awareness of Haram, and comprehension of the issues can be provided are these educational institutions. Some recommendations for including halal education in the national education curriculum are made in this article.
