Since the emergence of this vast and intricate universe particularly with the advent of life human beings have persistently sought to uncover the mysteries and purposes underlying existence. Throughout history, this quest has evolved through diverse ideas, philosophical frameworks, and intellectual methodologies. From the earliest stages of human consciousness to the present day, humanity has remained engaged in an enduring effort to comprehend the hidden realities and fundamental truths of the cosmos. It is evident that this intellectual pursuit will continue as long as questions about existence, purpose, and reality remain. Within this context, Islam offers a profound and comprehensive perspective that actively encourages human beings to reflect upon the nature of the universe. It calls upon individuals to utilize their God-given faculties—reason, observation, and contemplation to explore the signs embedded within creation. The Qurʾānic worldview promotes critical thinking, rational inquiry, and deep intellectual engagement with both the physical and metaphysical dimensions of existence. This research article seeks to examine how Islam guides humanity toward understanding the philosophy of the universe by emphasizing contemplation (tafakkur), reflection (tadabbur), and reasoned analysis. It further highlights the importance of exploring the principles, limits, and outcomes of philosophical inquiry within an Islamic framework, ultimately aiming to achieve a meaningful and coherent understanding of existence.
