Abstract

This paper explores the Islamic concept of leadership and its essential features, rooted in the Qur’ān, Ḥadīth, and the examples of the Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) and the Khulafā e Rāshidīn. Islamic leadership is based on the principles of justice, compassion, and service to humanity, emphasizing the responsibility to uphold the greater good and promote the well-being of all individuals and society as a whole. This paper examines the Islamic leadership model, highlighting its unique features and benefits, and discussing its relevance and applicability in contemporary contexts. By exploring the Islamic concept of leadership, this research aims to contribute to the development of ethical and effective leadership practices, guided by the timeless wisdom and values of Islam.
